The site won’t be vacant for long, it Wonder, a ghost kitchen type delivery concept is planning to open at the site. They are currently having horrigan’s reviewed by the Darien Planning & Zoning boards. Wonder markets itself as a food-hall delivery restaurant.
From app to your home, they offer menus from a variety of national chain restaurants. Orering through their app, it is a one stop order of dishes from any of the brands. They boast of having no delivery fees. People can pick up orders, or your from a kiosk on site as well.
According to their website, they have 90 locations, the closest one on High Ridge Rd. in Stamford, but they also have one in Fairfield and plans to open in Westport.
Like most app based concepts, they offer a subscription that offers discounts and expedited delivery.
