We feel in love with Raphaël’s when the opened on Mason Street in Greenwich. It was only time for them to expand, and by choosing Darien, they are in the mix of a vibrant lifestyle center than is anchored by cozy apartments and choice shops and dining.
Raphael’s is a family affair. Head of the family is pâtissier / boulanger Raphaël Dequeker. Born in Brittany, he made is mark in Paris at some of France’s most renowned restaurants and pastry shops. (Alain Ducasse, Pierre Hermé…) in some of France’s most famous restaurants and pastry shops (Le Louis XV in Monaco, Ladurée in Paris…). He is the 3rd generation in his family.
Everything is baked on site, and like a typical Parisian boulangerie, often. We love that you can buy a baguette still warm from the oven.
Charlotte is helping behind the scene and you will likely see one of his three sons (Kelian, Bastian and Titouan) behind the counter, at one point or another.
