At the Monday January 5th Board of Selectmen meeting, the board voted unanimously to approve increases to the inspection fees requested by Fire Marshall Bobby Buch. As part of the presentation of the fee increases, Mr. Buch explained that an attempt was made to benchmark against fees charged by other towns, but that many towns roll their fire inspection fees into the build permit fees without line item identification. The new fee schedule will be posted on the town’s website in 15 days. The current fee schedule (linked here) was last updated in 2017.
